A STAAR Dispatcher/ Driver Manager: (minimum requirements)

• A two or four year business degree is preferred with an emphasis in supply chain or related field or 1-3 years prior work experience; customer service, dispatch or operations preferred

• Transportation, supply chain or logistics experience is a plus

• Advanced technical/computer skills with the ability to use several programs simultaneously

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude

• Creative problem-solving, analytical and decision making skills with minimal supervision

• Ability to prioritize work load and thrive in a fast paced environment

• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; must be a team player and demonstrate the ability to coordinate with multiple associates

• Experience helpful with: Microsoft Office, 123Loadboard, DAT Loadboard, Direct Customer Tender, TMX System, Drive Axle, Samsara.

• capable of lifting 75+ lbs

• must be able to follow instructions and work with little to no supervision

• can pass a DOT drug and alcohol test

• can work evenings and weekends when necessary
